Obama takes Georgia for Democrats!

“WASHINGTON – Barack Obama won the Georgia primary Tuesday night, the leading edge of a coast-to-coast struggle with Hillary Rodham Clinton for delegates in the grueling Democratic presidential campaign. Arizona Sen. John McCain challenged his remaining rivals for control of the Republican race.” – Yahoo News

WOW, I guess I miss judged Obama. He actually seems to be making progress. I don’t know about you but, I think this race between Clinton and Obama is going to be very close and I mean VERY close. I know we still have like…..the rest of February and 9 months until November, which seems to be a long march for only two democrats, and with Obama and Clinton squawking at each other the whole way there — It is going to be a LONG 9 months.

“It was Obama’s second straight Southern triumph, and like an earlier victory in South Carolina, was built on a wave of black votes.” – Yahoo news

So, Obama has the African American votes and apperintly young people want to vote for him too. It seems like Obama has some good ideas –Unfortunatly when ever he talks I just can’t seem to pay attention I don’t know why — and if he continues at this pace I think he will be a winner….in about 9 months.

“Overall, Clinton was winning only a slight edge among women and white voters, both groups that she has won handily in earlier contests, according to preliminary results from interviews with voters in 16 states leaving polling places. Obama was collecting the overwhelming majority of votes cast by blacks, and Clinton was gaining the votes of roughly six in 10 Hispanics.” – Yahoo News

Okay, this is really getting interesting. Let’s break it down, Obama has the votes of African Americans and young people. On the other hand Clinto has the votes of Women, white voters and roughly 6 in 10 Hispanics. Hmmmmm…..but wait their is more in the article above it says,  “Overall, Clinton was winning only a slight edge among women and white voters…..” To me it seems they’re neck and neck, but one of them is going to have to make their move, although I’m sure its not going to be now since their is like….the rest of February and 9 months until November.

Lets hear what you have to say about this. 🙂

(why is January spelled like “January”, but February is spell like “February”? shouldn’t February be spelled like “Febuary” or January be spelled like “Janruary”?
